Dear Sir or Madam

My name is Benjamin Robson and I am interested in teaching in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Taiwan and Hong Kong. I am a fast learner and very inquisitive of Chinese Culture. I am willing to work as urgently as you intend.

I have completed the Advanced Global TESOL Certificate and am enrolled in the Professional TESOL Certificate. I am currently completing specialisation courses in:

• Teaching Business English

• Teaching Tourism English

• Tutoring English

When I have completed my studies I will have a total of 240 hours and obtain a Professional TESOL Certificate.

I have also completed Certificate I in Conservation and Land Management as well as six units of Certificate II in Business (Office Administration).

In addition to this I have completed my High School Certificate (Year 12).

I am willing to start a job as soon as my perspective employer wish's. I would prefer a contract of 1 year, but will accept other offers. I am fresh and willing to learn about teaching, language, cuisine, different societies, local art and culture. The reason I am interested in China and its neighbours is because of its goals for the future, ancient cultures, technologies and it's people. I have am looking forward to experience the cultural revolution in China.

I am very much looking forward to challenging myself in the classroom I have particularly taken an interest in the Rassias and Total Physical Response methods, as well as the High Response Technique. But I would intend to have substantial structure in my teachings and act in a very professional matter. I have researched and studied for my lessons, approach, methods, and techniques. I would also like to use technology and music is my classes focusing on communication. I have a particular interest in the make up of the English Language, Grammar and Pronunciation and am happy to teach both Adults and Children.

I have had experience of teaching children, I have taught a school group aged 9-11 the techniques of planting trees and the vocabulary involved. I have also worked in close proximity to Child Care centres and have picked up a few tips along the way. I like the company of children as well as the companionship of Adults and their knowledge, experiences and humour.

From a young age I have had the urge to travel and obtain new experiences. I come from the Gold Coast (the tourism capital of Australia) I was born in 1984, Male, single, and in excellent health. I enjoy Computers, Art and Music.

The Global TESOL College offers an intensive practical TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
certification training course. This course is designed to enhance teaching skills in the areas of conversational
English, listening comprehension, grammar, pronunciation, phonetics, linguistics, reading, writing, teaching preparation,

Mr. Benjamin Robson completed the TESOL training course on the 7th December, 2003. He has acquired the new
knowledge and concepts with ease, and presented himself in a professional manner during the practical training
and presentations. His communication skills combined with his ability to adapt quickly and easily to new situations
are qualities that will make an excellent EFL/ESL teacher. I am certain that Mr. Benjamin Robson will make an ideal
