Introduction

Joy Children's Language School, HeFei is a franchise of Joy Education Organization, and it is widely regarded as the best English training school for children in the city. We give English tuition to age 4-15 children after day school hours; we strive to provide them with English as the international language tool.

We have a very good working environment and a perfect team: 12 young women as Chinese English teachers, 3 foreign teachers and 3 secretaries and a progressive thinking director.

We have an excellent English teaching system, on par with the best available. The series of teaching materials is well developed and teaching manuals in English are available to foreign teachers. These t eaching guides provide teachers with suggested lesson plans and many ideas for presenting the material. The teachers' responsibility is to make their classes lively and interesting, bringing the language to life for the students . In all of this, the foreign teachers work hand in glove with their Chinese colleagues, shouldering 1/4 of the teaching load. English training to Chinese teachers is also an important part of the work.

HeFei is the capital city of AnHui province in eastern China, with 1.4 million people. It is a medium-large city, peaceful and friendly, not very modern and busy. The winter climate is cold, while it is hot in summer. Travelling from Hefei, you can easily go to some of the best tourist destinations, including Shanghai, Xi'an, NanJing or the famous Yellow Mountain.

Life in our city is pleasant, inexpensive and quite uncomplicated. Shopping is easy and everything one might need is available. Buses and taxis can take you everywhere in a short time.

To a Chinese student, learning English is one of his most important pursuits during his school time, but the traditional teaching method in public schools makes the process inefficient. After-school training schools like ours are becoming the best option for a student to learn English.

The first Joy School opened in Taiwan in 1981. The guiding belief of Sam Chen and Peggy Huang, the schools' founders, is that learning English should be an enriching experience for the learners. They were particularly concerned about increasing globalization and the need for a common language, and envisioned a school that would equip Taiwanese children with the necessary English skills to ensure success in the globalized environment.
