It has extended the research results to 390 counties throughout the country and gained great economic and social benefits by increasing agriculture output value about 13 billions. At present, the research in the university is considered to be in the leading position in China in the fields of biological transgenic engineering, sericulture and olericulture, soil science, insect, cotton, and rape, among which sericulture and olericulture are in the top position in the world.
