Fujian Xishan School Located in Fuqing City, Fujian Province, a famous hometown of overseas Chinese, it adjoins the Southern Shaolin Temple of long-standing renown and beautiful Shizhu Lake Scenic Spot to the south, the magnificent rolling Xishan Mountain to the north, the No. 324 National Highway and Fuquan Expressway to the east, and the green and luxuriant Lingshi Mountain State National Forest Park to the west. The whole campus is embraced by mountains and trees. As the core school of Xishan Educational Group, Fujian Xishan School was set up in 1994 with a total investment of RMB 0.18 billion yuan in both house construction and equipment of teaching and living facilities. Covering an area of over 600 mu and a total floor space of 180,000 m2, it consists of 6 teaching administrative zones, namely, kindergarten, primary school, junior middle school, senior middle school, specialized martial arts and foreign students. Its students total Nearly 10,000 and faculty and staff over 1,500. Its comprehensive strength ranks it among the top schools of the same kind in China, and its achievements have been well known at home and abroad. It has been awarded the title of "Fujian Provincial Garden-Style School" and "Advanced Civil and Military School". Adopting the strategies of "cultural orientation and martial arts characteristics", and "scientific administration of school under the guidance of experts", the school pays attention to the students' personality development, implements quality education in all aspects, and clearly formulates the school-running concept of "focus on people, administer school according to law, prosper school by virtue of quality, and develop through innovation" to foster the students' innovative and practical abilities.
