Jiaying University is located in Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, the People'Republic of China. Meizhou is a historical city famous as "the home of culture, of football and of overseas Chinese" and "the capital of the Hakkas" Jiaying University is an institution of higher learning offering a wide range of majors at undergraduate level. It was established 90 years ago and was the first university operated by the local authority in Guangdong Province in the 20th century. Jiaying University enjoys a quiet and beautiful environment and because of this it was appraised by the relevant departments of the State and Guangdong Province as one of the "national 400 Best Forestation organizations" and "civilized organization" Jiaying University has a strong teaching faculty and good facilities. 2. Course Schedule
The length of the undergraduate programme is 4 years; a bachelor's degree will be awarded to those who qualify. General course varies from 1 month to 3 years hand a certificate of course completed will be issued. These courses are, for example, one month (April 1st---May 1st); two months (May 12th---July 12th); four month (September15th ---January 15th) programmes.

2. Tuition Fees
(1) Undergraduate programmes:
1800 US Dollars / Academic year (students of liberal arts);
2000 US Dollars / Academic year (students of science and engineering);
2700 US Dollars / Academic year (students of Physical Education, and students of Fine Arts);
(2) General courses:
2200 US Dollars / Academic year (students of Hakka Culture);
Note:Tuition fees can be negotiable for students of Chinese Language, and for students of Hakka Dialect and Hakka Culture.
3. Accommodation fees
(1) Twin-bedded suite in Internatinal Student Dorm: 20 US dollars a day;
(2) Standard twin-bedded room in International Student Dorm: 6 US dollars a day;
(3) Twin-bedded room in Student Dorm: 3 US dollars a day.

IV.Admission
1.Requirement for Admission
All applicants should be in good health and preferably your age should be between 16 to 55. All students should obey Chinese laws and regulations as well as the rules and regulations of the University. Applications for undergraduate programmes should be senior high school graduates who have mastered basic Chinese.

3. XAfter admission
Applicant will receive the following documents sent by the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiaying University very soon:
(1)Admission Notification of Jiaying University;
(2)Visa Application for Foreign Students (Form JW 202) issued by the China State Education Commission

V.Enrollment formalities
(1). Time to apply
Applications for majors in Science, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Physical Education and Fine Arts as undergraduate must be submitted to the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiaying University before May 1st every year.
Applications for the study of Chinese, Hakka Culture, Hakka Dialect can be submitted to the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiaying University at any time.
(2).Visa
The applicants who have been enrolled should go to the Chinese Embassy (Consulate) in their countries to apply for Visa to China. The documents for this application include: Physical Examination Record for Foreigner; Jiaying University Admission Notification for Overseas Students issued by our university; and Visa Application for Foreigners Wishing to Study in China.
(3). Registration
The newly-enrolled students shall register at the University on time in accordance with the requirements in Jiaying University Admission Notification for Overseas Students. Those who do not register on time will be considered as giving up the admission.
