Guangdong Baiyun Vocational Technical College, founded in 1989 by Mr. Xie Ketao, has been renamed Guangdong Baiyun Institute in 2005 and is one of the first two private institutes of higher education in Guangdong Province approved by the Education Ministry to award Bachelor’s Degree.

Guangdong Baiyun Institute, with a clean and quiet environment, is located in the beautiful "Flower City" of Guangzhou, in the province of Guangdong, just 200km from northwest of Hong Kong. The campus covers 300,000 square meters with building space in excess of 276,000 square meters.

West Campus

Guangdong Baiyun Institute specializes in higher education and offers both state-recognized 4 -year degree and 3-year diploma courses. A dedicated management team, a full-time teaching and research staff including foreign instructors in excess of 640 support the presidents in maintaining the quality of education of more than 8100 on-campus students.

To ensure that students grow physically as well as academically, the Institute offers a wide range of sporting facilities including tennis and badminton courts, football grounds, a gymnasium and a swimming pool to name just a few.

Arts Building

Guangdong Baiyun Institute has established cooperative relations with over 1,000 enterprises in the Pearl River Delta, with more than 100 enterprises offering field internships and employment opportunities. It has cooperative relationships with over 20 universities and educational institutes in USA, UK, Germany, Australia, Canada, France, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao etc., including Bradford College in UK, F+U in Germany and Atlantic Cape Community College in USA. In addition, Guangdong Baiyun Institute is an accredited institution by Edexcel International, UK.

Recruitment Requirement

Lab & Workshop Building

· Bachelor degree or above, with ESL or TEFL qualification / experience is prefered
· Have clear pronunciation
· Have experience in teaching
· Under 6o years old
· Be in good health
· The load of teaching will be 18 periods a week (45 minutes per period)
· Be friendly with China and the Chinese People
· Abide by the laws of China and observe the regulations of the College

Salary and Living Conditions for Foreign Teachers and Experts

Library

· Monthly salary will be from RMB4200 to RMB5500, according to educational background, experience, working attitude and the quality of teaching.
· Provide free housing (Providing an apartment with air-conditioner, furniture and beddings; a bathroom with 24 hour hot water and a kitchen with cooking utensils; a TV set, a washing-machine and a refrigerator; a computer with internet access etc.)
· Provide 6500RMB allowance for air ticket, RMB2200 allowance for annual traveling and 2000RMB allowance for medical insurance for a one year contract
