Established in 2005, U-link College of International Culture is a part of South China Normal University. The school is a boarding school for Chinese students that provides 2 years ’ A-level as a member of UCAS and is registered with Cambridge International Examinations.

The school offers 4 A levels subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Accounting. The center is under the administration of CIC (College of International College) one of the 14 colleges run by SCNU (SouthChinaNormalUniversity). The university which was established in 1933 is one of the prestigious universities in China and has a long history of qualified education and teaching.

SCNU is located in Guangzhou, China. Guangzhou is in the center of the Pearl Delta which is one of the three most booming economic areas in China, with Hong Kong and Macao in its vicinity. The GDP of Guangzhou in 2005 is the highest among the sub-provincial cities in China. In fact Guangzhou has been the center of business, finance, communication, culture, science and technology in the south of China. Guangzhou is the host of Chinese Export Commodities Fair (also known as the Canton Fair), which has been ongoing for about a half century and is held twice a year in late April and late October.

All of our teachers and staff members are highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields. We have one foreign teacher and a Chinese counterpart for each of the subjects we offer.

As to students, all of them are Chinese and have strong back ground knowledge in Mathematics and Science. They come from Chinese High Schools In their fist or second year grade . These students will complete their A levels in 2 year by taking exams in two sessions.

 Vacancies:

 Subject Teachers A level (Full Time/Contract)

 Experienced A-level or GCSE teachers in each of the following subjects;

Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Accounting CIE syllabus based to meet Cambridge academic requirements.

 Requirements:

Bachelors degree or higher in the respective subjects

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a recognized institution

Dynamic, cooperative, adjustable personality, ready to be a part of teamwork with high commitment of professionalism

English Teachers (Full Time/Contract)

 Teaching English to teenagers age 16-19 (writing, speaking, reading and listening)

Requirements:

Experienced English Teachers with bachelor degree or higher with recognized teaching qualification ESL, TEFL, CELTA etc.

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a recognized institution

Preference will be given to those having IELTS or TOEFL teaching experience

Dynamic, cooperative, adjustable personality, ready to be a part of teamwork with high commitment of professionalism

Work load: 25 class periods of teaching each being 45 minutes in length per week.

Class Size: 25-30 students.

Monthly salary: 18,000RMB (before tax) for subject teachers and 7,500RMB (before tax) for English teachers for 10 months per academic year.

Vacation allowance: 18,000RMB (before tax) for subject teachers and 7,500RMB (before tax) for English teachers after the completion of the contract.

Monthly accommodation allowance: 1500RMB per month. School assists teacher finding suitable furnished apartments. Teachers pay for utilities bills (electricity, gas, telephone, internet etc.)

Professional training: Training is provided to get familiar with Cambridge International Examinations system, assessment methods, marking schemes, syllabus and course related affairs. 

Facilities Provided: Text books, teaching material, audio/visual tools for teaching, office desk, computer with internet access, telephone, printer, photocopy machine, stationery etc.  

Air fare: Ticket allowance 7000RMB after completion of the contract
