Huaihua University
(HHU) is located in Huaihua city, and the city has a vital railway communication
line with Xiangqian railway, Zhiliu railway and Yuhuai railway cross
it. HHU was founded in 1958. The campus covers an area of 642690 square
meters with 260 thousand square meters of building space. The library
in our university has more than o.6 million volume of book collection
and has more than 1400 kinds of periodicals. Our university possesses
many advanced equipments for scientific research, such as the computer
room, the CAD and the CAI room, the MID room and many kinds of experiment
rooms. And we also possess the stadium, the building for the science
and technology majors, the building for doing the experiments and the
building for the art majors etc. HHU includes 17 departments and 32
specialized subjects covering fields of literature, science, industry,
education and management, law, etc. There are more than 8000 full-time
students in our university, and there are full-time teaching faculty
of more than 700 members, among who are 32 professors, 140 associate
professors and 28 teachers with doctor's degree and 100 teachers with
master's degree.
Huaihua city
is adjoining the famous scenic spot Zhang jiajie and the beautiful ancient
town Fenghuang. The transportation within Huaihua city is very convenient
and the construction of Zhijiang airport in Huaihua city will also be
