What is the program?
" Experiencing Jiangsu" is an entirely new program sponsored
by Jiangsu Education Center for International Exchanges (JECIE), a non-profit
organization, which has been engaging itself in promoting and facilitating
the international exchanges in the education circle since 1988. JECIE
is also the official representative of the 100 Membership Schools and
was accredited in 2002 by the State Bureau of Foreign Experts, to recruit
international faculties for schools in Jiangsu Province.
This program will enable the participants to experience and explore
the traditional Chinese culture and the modern Chinese society as well,
through the interaction with the teachers and school-kids in Jiangsu,
one of the most developed Province in China.
JECIE is helping its Membership Schools by assisting them to recruit
native English speaking teachers from overseas. The applicants are expected
to be teaching in the schools and joining in the school teaching forces.
The basic requirements are:
1) Minimum qualification: BA;
2) Experience: at least 1 year teaching experience;
3) Friendly, patient and respecting the Chinese culture;
4) Willing to work in rural areas if needed;
5) Pay their own initial air-fair to China;
6) Physically fit, with medical check needed for elderly teachers;
7) Arrange for their medical insurance to cover China;
8) Providing the Application Letter with CVs and two recommendation
letters.
What our Membership Schools can offer?
1) Month salaries will vary from 3000RMB to 5000RMB, plus free housing.
2) Lodging are provided (either in schools' apartments or hostels with
basic necessities, like air conditions, TV, fridge, hot water for bathing
and telephone etc, some may provide internet access.).

What does JECIE guarantee?
1) Respond within 7 working days when the application is submitted;
2) Finding a school within another 7 days;
3) Providing all the necessary documentations to apply in the Chinese
Embassy or Consulate for a one-year/six- month working visa for the
qualified applicants;
4) Offering further services to the participants when they work in the
province;
5) No charge to applicants.
