Introduction
 

Brief introduction of Changzhou Tourism School Changzhou Tourism School is the first key vocational school which reached national grade in Jiangsu Province . The school aims to train capable , skillful , high qualified professionals in tourism and hotel service . For years , our school has carried on an advanced and new ideal in education , devoting itself to follow a new way , that is to cooperate with foreign schools to set up joint teaching programs and cultural exchanges . In recent years our school has won several honorary titles : City-level Civilized Unit , Provincial Advanced School in moral Education and so on . And it has become famous throughout Jiangsu Province and , to a certain degree , the whole country. The school campus is a nice and stimulating enviroment . All the teaching equipment and training facilities are first-class and ready to use .

In the past two years , three of the students were awarded for reaching the first place in National Composition Contest . And in other National Contests , students coming from different specialized classes of our school got gold and silver medals in their subjects , as well as all-round prizes . As a result , the demand for graduates exceeds the supply . In the meanwhile , every year , over 50% of our graduates are admitted to go to colleges and universities , such as Suzhou University ,Yangzhou University , Nanjing Agricultural University and so on . The successes gained by the school were noticed by some tourism colleges or companies both at home and abroad . In 1998-1999, the food-carving show caught a lot of attention in the United Emirates of Arabia . Ever since 1999, a certain amount of students have been selected to go to Japan for further language learing training . In 2002 , the school set up the cooperation of joint teaching program with "Barbarrigo Tourism Institute" in Venice , Italy . Some students will be choosen to go to Italy to have further studies and will be recommended to have training and jobs in European countries after graduation . What's more important , the cultural exchage between the two schools had already started and all of this is the proof that the school has made steps forward to reach new levels of international cooperation and cultural exchage.
