Introduction
 


Liyang Experimental Primary School, founded in 28 Guangxu Qing Dynasty (1902AD) ,is a provincial school in Jiangsu of more than a hundred years. In 1980,it was awarded by the government and in 1993,it was honored Jiangsu Teaching Model School. Our school covers more than 20,000 square meters. It is well arranged , modernly equipped and also rich in cultural resources. Now we have 44 classes, more than 2,200 students and 144 teachers. All the teachers have good qualities, including 2 teachers of a special classification in China, 2 core teachers in China, 11 in province and 21 leaders of academic teaching and research in Changzhou City, etc. During recent years, our school has established the teaching philosophy Education is service

We attach our great importance to the development of students individual characteristics and their latent abilities, pupils are encouraged to take part in all kinds of recreation and sports activities, and as for these aspects, we've got great successes and won wide praises. We carry out a series of new rules, for example, we let the students and their parents choose the teacher. If they are not satisfied with the teacher, they can make requests for the headmaster to dismiss the teacher, etc. We've performed lots of important research projects. Some of them had been awarded, especially the main research project Experiments and Researches of Improving Pupils Abilities in Personal Studies has been recognized as the most important provincial and national ones. All of the efforts have made our educational qualities improved steadily.

The students make rapid progress in every aspect and develop all-round abilities and they are welcomed by many middle schools.
