Introduction

Zibo Educational People's Foreign Affairs Service Centre is in cooperation with the Personnel Section of Zibo Municipal Education Bureau. Its main responsibilities are making good use of the market in and out of the country, providing foreign affairs services to the educational people, carrying out the agreements signed by Zibo Municipal Education Bureau and organizing the exchanges of teachers and students between Zibo and foreign countries.

ZiboCity, an opened economical city in Shandong Penisula authorized by the State Department, is now including five districts, three counties and a national development zones for industries using high and new technology. It is 5,938sq.km with a total population of 4,149,900. At present, there are 1,878 schools of different levels (including kindergartens) and 805,200 students in school. Zibo puts forward the strategy of developing the city through using science and technology in a very early time. It now is an experimental city of developing the city through using science and technology, an experimental city of primary and middle school teachers' further education, an experimental city of information and technology education in the whole county.

Zibo Municipal Education Bureau regards the international educational exchanges as an important issue. It has established friendly relations with many schools and educational institutions in America, England, Australia and South Korea, etc. We started the "Cultural Immersion Project", sharing foreign student resources in education field. We always welcome the foreign scholars to visit Zibo and teach in Zibo. Until now, there are 25 schools and colleges having been allowed to accept foreign teachers and 8 schools having been allowed to accept foreign students, making a good condition for the coming of foreign teachers and students.
