Panzhihua city, the first city of the Yangtse River Area, it is located in the south-west of Sichuan Province, where is the place that the Jinsha River and Yalong River gather, the average temperature at 19.2C to 20.3C. It's a place that owns rich tropic feature in national subtropical zone. Panzhihua Prefectural Level City was set up on Mar 4, 1965, it was called Dukou City at that time, and it renamed Panzhihau City in Jan, 1987. The city covers a total area of 7,434 square kilometers with a population of 1.01 milliion, 13.34% per cent are minority. It administrates three districts (East District, West District and Renhe District) and two counties (Miyi County and Yanbian County).
