Wenjiang High School is known nationwide with an 80-year-old-long history, and has become a national key school. It is a listed national ecological park and national development park for overseas investors, 16 kilometers away from the urban area of Chengdu. It is famous for its beautiful campus, advanced teaching facilities and noticeable achievement.

For 80 years, since its establishment in 1927, and acknowledged as one of the provincial key schools in Sichuan Province in 1980 and one of the national key schools in 2001, Wenjiang High School has dedicated itself to making secondary education universal and raising the scientific and cultural level of young people. Excellence on educational programs has been focused all the time. It has earned recognition for its progress, achievements in scholastic education and the utilizing teaching installations. Tens of thousands of students graduated from here. At present most of them have played the important roles in various fields of society, among whom are government officials, engineers, professors, entrepreneurs, doctors, workers, farmers and so on. "Wenjiang High School set an model for Chinese quality education, which can be made use of as reference," said the education experts.

With the pace of the West Development of China, Wenjiang High School is making greater and greater progress. Up to now, it has three branches, Chengdu New Century Foreign Language School, West Section of Wenjiang High School and YingJing Section of Wenjiang High School.
