Class time: 8:00-11:30 am, 2:00--5:30

Class: 25-30
students or teachers/class
Workload: 7 hours a day with no more
than 80 hours in all the summer. One teacher will be in charge of
one class. The teacher is free to use his or her own material and
teaching methods. Teachers are free to conduct their classes. They
can devide the classes into oral English, listening, free reading,
video showing, slide showing, students performance and English corner,
etc. Although it seems the teachers have a lot of periods, yet if
arranged properly, they will not feel so and they will have a lot
of fun. Classes can also be held outside the classroom.
Participants: Middle school students
aged from 12-18 or middle school teachers aged from 25-30. |

Goals: To improve
their listening and speaking ability or the teaching skills of the
teachers.
Lesson Plan: Teachers should find
and bring to China some material for trainning the oral English
of students or the teaching methodology of Chinese English teachers.
Usually every class lasts 45 minutes with 5 minutes for break. Teachers
should also prepare some English games and activities in the class.
Teaching Material: All the teaching
material should be compiled and printed in English-speaking countries
with native language.
Benefit: Free boarding and meals,
plus free tour of the beautiful West Lake and other scenic spots
in Hangzhou during the summer program. Free access to Internet.
No reimbursement for any airfare and transportation to the working
spot. No any kinds of insurance.
Boarding Place: Hotel room with air-conditioner,
tel, hot shower and other living utensils. The hotel is within the
Campus. |

Salary: 3000
yuan.

Qualifications for Applicants:
1. Native English-speakers; Those from America, Canada, UK, Australia
and New Zealand will be given preferential consideration.
2. Those in English major or with TEFL certificates or educational
background will be given preferential consideration.
3. Above one-year teaching experience.
4. Personal confidence, good communication skills.
5. We strongly encourage couples to apply for this job
Documents & Passport: Every teacher
should send his or her resume along with recent personal photo and
a copy of his/her passport photo page to John before they will be
formally accpeted.
Visa Info: Every teacher could come
to China with a tourist visa. |

Airport and Train Info: Teachers
should be responsible for their own airfare and transportation.
Putong Airport in Shanghai would be the best destination. Take
an airport bus or go to the Shanghai Train Station to the center
of Hangzhou and then call John (13605715127) who will send someone
to pick you up and send you to the hotel.
Meeting Schedules: We will hold
a meeting in the morning of July 14 in Zhejiang University Guest
Hotel to give our teachers all the details of the program.
