1. School Introduction

Huzhou University is located in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Huzhou has convenient transportation facilities because Shanghai is nearby in the east and Hangzhou in the south. It is situated on the south side of lake Tai Hu with Suzhou and Wuxi on the north side of the lake. Huzhou is a progressive city with a sound economy and rich heritage.

The campus is surrounded by beautiful scenery with a graceful river. The University has comfortable dormitories, full modern classroom buildings and facilities. The campus lies on more than 111 hectares of the land with more than 260,000 square meters of teaching building. The University consists of ten Schools to meet the educational requirements of the students. These Schools include: School of Humanities, School of Law and Business, School of Foreign Languages, School of Sciences, School of Life Sciences, School of Medicine, School of Information Engineering, School of Arts, School of Physical Education, School of Education Science and Technology. These schools offer 44 Bachelor's degree programs and Associate-degree programs covering literature, law, history, economy, administration, education, science, engineering and medicine. At present, the University has more than 1000 faculty members. Currently the number of full-time students in attendance is 10,200 with more than 4,000 students receiving continuing education service.

The International Center provides long-term and short-term courses covering Chinese language, traditional Chinese medicine and culture specially designed for the needs of foreign students. The Center has continually expanded the range of courses offered and developed standards of teaching that are suitable for the needs of foreign students. The Center has dedicated teachers who are specialists in their individual fields.

1). Registration Fee: $50 ( Including fee for registration and certificate)

2). Books: Depends on how many books you need.

3). Tuition:
A) Students with academic credentials: $1400 each year\per person
B) Long-term students for future study: $1400 each year\per person; $700 half year\per person
C) Short-term students for further study: $250 each month\per person; you will have to pay another $50 if you have one more week here on campus. If by group, you can get a special favor.

4). Fee for Room: Single Room: $6\per day (Excluding water, electricity, telephone fee)
Double Room: $3\per day (Excluding water, electricity, telephone fee)
Each room has a bathroom, water heater, furniture, air-conditioner, TV set, telephone, bedclothes, Internet terminal station, etc.

5). Expenses for medicine, food, trips are to be covered by students.

5.Registration and Application Procedure.

1). Those who are up to the standard of Huzhou University can contact the Foreign Affairs Office by fax, e-mail or in person for a ¡° Application Form for Foreign Students at Huzhou University¡± and a form of ¡°Physical Examination Record for Foreigner¡± (Excluding courses less than six months). The above two completed forms together with the copy of your passport, your final education certificate and application fees are required to send back to the Foreign Affairs Office.

2). After the University gets the related materials and verifies them, we will mail you ¡° Letter of Admission to Huzhou University¡± and a Form JW202.
With the Form JW202, the letter of Admission and your passport, you can apply for ¡°X¡± Visa (one year or more than one year learning period) or ¡°F¡± visa (visa for half a year learning period) at Chinese Embassy in your country; or you can come to our University with the ¡° L¡± tourist visa and deal with the procedure for overseas study here.

3). Registration Procedure for Foreign Students.
A) Students are required to present their ¡°Admission Form¡±, ¡° JW202¡±, the passport to the Foreign Affairs Office.
B) Fill in the Admission Registration Form, the application form for Foreign Residence Permit.
C) 8 photos in accordance with the photo of your passport.
D) Pay tuition and other fees.
E) Get the student's certificate and the school badge.

4). Dates for Application.
A) Students with academic credentials: Send application form before 10 th June each year.
B) Long-term students for future study: Send application form before 10 th June or before 10 th December each year.
C) Short-term students for future study: No Dates limitation.

6. Transportation:

Those who arrive at Pudong International Airport in Shanghai or Xiaoshan International Airport in Hangzhou, our University can assign a messenger and car to meet you at the airport free of charge.

7. Facilities

The university has three campuses where there is a clinic, several supermarkets, stores, laundries and other convenient services. There is also a western-style restaurant and several student canteens. For those sports fans, you can use the open courts for football, basketball, volleyball and tennis and gyms for badminton, table tennis and body-fitting exercises.
