College Motto: Seek the Origin at High Aspiration

Founded in June 1959 Hangzhou, ZJCTCM is the only higher educational institute in Zhejiang province that specializes in training up high-level professionals of TCM. Until now, it is the most beautiful TCM college in China with total campus area of 610 mu (41 hectare), built-up area of 192400 square meters and over 35 green-cover rate. With a faculty of 2223, the college boasts 54 renowned veteran TCM doctors(30 of them are national-honored and 24 provincial-honored ), 9 affiliated hospitals,5 affiliated out-patient clinics and 20 teaching/practicing hospitals, 700000 library collection books; current enrolled students are around 10000. As a comprehensive college, ZJCTCM provides 4 doctor-degree, 18 master-degree and 17 bachelor-degree programs covering all the subjects of traditional Chinese medicine, pharmacology, nursing and the combination of Chinese and western medicines.

Since the year of 1985 when ZJCTCM began enrolling overseas students, the International Education Center (IEC) has conducted training at all levels to more than 2000 students from over 20 countries and regions. ZJCTCM is situated in Hangzhou, a city called “the Paradise on Earth”. Historically as one of seven famous ancient capital cities in China, Hangzhou is one of China's key scenic tourist cities with a long history and rich culture attracting tourists from home and abroad. Weather here belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, which is characterized by clearly divided 4 seasons, mild weather, plenty of sunshine and rainfall.
