Shane English School Hangzhou is a franchise of Shane English Schools China. The company was established in 1977 and now has nearly 200 schools in Japan alone, as well as schools in Taiwan, China, South Africa, New Zealand and the UK. There are currently several Shane Schools in China itself, in cities including Beijing, Suzhou and Hangzhou, with the head office located in Shanghai. The majority of our students are younger learners, between 8 and 12 years old, although we do teach a full range of ages from 3 years old to adults. Coursebooks and all the resources you would expect in a modern school are provided. The school emphasizes quality of education above all, and most of our students continue to study at the school for term after term.

Workload: 18 classroom hours/week + preparation, any hours taught over 18 paid overtime

Monthly salary: Basic 6600 RMB/month. Extra for qualifications and experience. End of contract bonus. Help with insurance. Flight reimbursed up to 4200 RMB.

Accommodation: The school will assist in finding accommodation for the teacher. Accommodation is paid for by the teacher.
